Title Representations of Young People in Television Fiction. Adults, Youths and School in Física o Química (Physics or Chemistry) Summary This paper tries to reflect on the power of television fiction to show, not only youth groups, but also their relationship with adult collectives. We take into account the assumption of television´s socialization function, and our analysis focus on the well-know series Física o Química (Physic or Chemistry). We analyses topics, characters, settings, plots… in order to show how the fiction reflects the social changes, structural and cultural, that shape the youngest generations. Therefore, we will mention the meanings of youth roles, adult roles in the tale, and also the representation of the relationship between both. Keywords Television fiction, youth, social images, socialization process
