Title Parent-child interaction in television viewing. Strategies for Media Literacy at home Summary Despite the rise of new screens and the role of children as promoters of new technologies, television is the star in Spanish families. In this context remain concerns about the lack of protection of childhood against supposed abuses of the media. In this article we intend to spread a diagnosis on the role of parents around the child-television relation and the Strategies for Media Literacy at home. For this matter we have used the qualitative technique of the in-depth interview. The diagnosis we have reached is of parental inhibition.
