Title Communication Space in Europe Summary European integration has moved forward since the 2nd World War till present. Communication has been one of the tools that has been most often used with a view to reach this objective. For instance, the main objective of the communication policy of the European Council and the European Union has been that of building a common identity and enacting different shorts of dispositions with a view to reach this goal. The massive spread of audiovisual technologies and the new audiovisual policies, whose global scope has proved highly effective in different fields, have contributed enormously to raise public awareness of the common identity Keywords Media policy, European audiovisual policies, European integration.
