Title Editorial and configurator principle in Alonso Nieto Tamargo's thinking Summary Scientific research on editorial principles owes much to the thought of Professor Nieto Tamargo, who has dedicated continuous attention to the subject in his writings. His formulations, far from being outdated, maintain their relevance and shed light not only on the study of media contents but also the understanding of the purposes of the media management. In this article, the authors seek to delve into the thought of Alfonso Nieto on this crucial question and emphasize the need to encourage research oriented at analyzing the formulation and coherence of the guiding principles in today’s media industry.
